What To Expect When You Go Solar

You already know you want to save big on your taxes and on your electric bill with solar power. But how exactly do you do that? Well, we’ve made it simple for you to go from “Interested” to “Saving Money”. Even better, we’ll be with you every step of the way.

1) What Are Your Goals?

Like any new project, it starts with deciding what you want to accomplish. We’ll have a short call to discuss what goals you’d like to achieve with your solar array. Every array is unique, and we want to design the one that’s perfect for your needs.

2) What Is Your Energy Usage?

Before we can move forward, we’ll need to see your electrical usage for the past 12 months. This helps us get a handle on your current energy needs, so we can see if solar is the right choice for you. Depending on your utility company, you may be able to sign an authorization form and we’ll contact your energy provider on your behalf about your usage.

3) On-Site Consultation

Once we have your electric usage, we’ll visit your property and review the site. While we’re there we’ll discuss the details of your future solar array. Our engineers are on standby and you can watch us design your solar array right in front of you! Want changes made? You can see them made immediately. We’ll also discuss financing options, present you with a final quote, and provide you with our turnkey solar installation agreement.

4) The Technicalities

Now that we know the details of your dream array, it’s time for the technical stuff. Our engineers will get to work with the finer points of design, and our customer service team will be on hand to answer any questions you have, keep you updated, and serve as your point of contact.

5) Installation Day

Once your agreement is signed, we’ll complete all the needed interconnection paperwork for your array. After we receive approval from your utility company, we’ll schedule a date for installation that you approve of.

6) Flip The Switch

We’ll ensure that the system passes all of the required electrical and utility inspections and after everything has been approved, we’ll turn on your solar array. You’ll receive instructions on how to access your monitoring so that you can watch your new solar array’s production in real time.

7) Routine Check-up Visits

You haven’t seen the last of us. We’ll come by for two annual check-up visits to ensure everything is working perfectly with your new solar array. If anything is out of the ordinary, we’ll resolve it.
